As you know Geiger Cars is the German car tuning company which deals mostly with American cars. So the use of the Corvette Z06 as the basis for special edition of this vehicle is quite logic and obvious.

New Cool Bose Audio System

If you are already thinking what to present to a friend for Christmas we can give you a piece of advice. The audio system leader, Bose has represented its new Media System. The set includes satellite navigation, music, satellite radio, hand-free telephone set and voice command, why not?
However, this is not complete list of the system’s features and options. It additionally includes a 30 GB hard drive. As it can store 200 CDs or so it is a good alternative for the CD-less stereo.

To make car entertainment device safer the designers did all their best to limit distracting controls that take motorists’ eyes off the road. The system is as simple as car radio has been in 1955. it is operated with only a few buttons and knobs.
Currently the system is available only in Ferraris. However, according to Free Press soon this absurdly cool audio system can appear in one of GM cars (perhaps a Corvette or Cadillac) owing to a long partnership of GM and Bose.

New Ferrari California

On the 14th of May Ferrari has finally represented its new supercar – Ferrari California. At the picture you can see this beautiful creature which is expected to become a star of Paris Motor Show in October.
Drivers will be delighted with the newcomer’s 454bhp V8, a slick shifting 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and of course its folding roof.

But this is not all that the famous Italian automaker has prepared for the fans. This model will be followed by another highly anticipated supercar – the Jaguar F-type.
The design of the car is influenced by the 599 which is a bit bigger. The front is decorated with swept back headlamps and a large grille. Steeply rising waistline white on the rear end goes down the sides
But really big news with this car is its folding hard top. All versions of the car will have it as standard. It is made of aluminum and electrically powered.
The car is equipped with the 4.3-litre V8 whose soundtrack you can enjoy with the hood lowered.
Newcomer has perfect agility and sharp responses owing to its rear suspension set-up. Reigning in all the performance is not a problem owing to carbon ceramic brakes.
The first examples of the car are expected to hit the market in 2009 priced at £130,000.

Have You Ever Heard of… the Jerrary?

In order to win Le Mans in 1963 Henry Ford II decided to buy Ferrari to promote its racing program. However at the last moment Enzo Ferrari refused from the deal. By this he angered Ford so much that the later made up his mind to develop the legendary GT40 that later achieved a lot of various motorsports victories.
A few years later Enzo Ferrari angered another powerful American businessman Bill Harrah of Harrah’s Casino. He asked Mr. Ferrari to make for him an Italian 4X4 that would wear the prancing horse badge. Of course, the famous automaker rejected the request. We do not know for sure, in which form he has wrote his letter of refusal, but judging by the request, we can assume that Ferrari’s letter contained words “never” and “hell”, in Italian, of course.

To revenge himself upon Ferrari Harrah who had more money than taste created the Jerrari. The car consisted of several parts taken from different vehicles. Its ass-end belonged to 1970 Jeep Wagoneer and the nose was taken from a 1969 Ferrari 365GT, on the day of its birth this unique offroading Ferrari was powered by V12 engine. Today its four wheels are turned by a 350 V8.
The eBay auction offers not only the vehicle itself but also numerous documents connected with it. One of them is the letter from the previous owner of the car which tells that there must be more than one of these creatures. The second document is a 1971 review of the vehicle published in  “Road & Track.”

Crazy Colors of Ferrari California

As you know last week Ferrari represented the official photos and details of Ferrari California – its new hardtop convertible. The only color for Ferrari is red, of course. But there are a lot of other colors and we are sure that new owners of the car, at least American ones, will repaint their vehicles at the day of purchasing in order their cars to match their favourite shirt.

People at pigmag.com have apparently come to the same conclusion so they created a number of images representing Ferrari California in all those unnatural colors. Of course you may be terrified looking at green Ferrari but what about your teen son or daughter?
